Recently we recommended some SEO edits for an article that a guest author wrote for Land Trust Alliance. The article is about how land trusts can partner with farmers to preserve affordable farmland. However, the title that came with the story—”Partnering with Next Generation Farmers”—is too vague to draw much organic search. We decided to leave the original title on the page, so we’re not interfering with the author’s creative decision. But we added some important keywords to the meta title.
#1: Only use one Header 1 tag per page. Some people like to argue about this, and there are specific circumstances where it might be appropriate to use more than one Header 1 tag on a page. But if you’re reading this and in the position where you need guidance in the proper use of H1 tags, take the easy route: one H1 tag per page. Thankfully, WordPress—which we use for almost all client sites—makes this pretty easy. Most themes simply take whatever the title is for the post or page and automatically set it as the H1 text. Boom. Done.
Securing a dedicated server or VPS server for your website will enable you to not be classified with other potential spammers on your shared hosting IP. This IP address should also then be redirected to your home page.
So should we use h1 tags for just text or links also like post titles. What do you say and what should be done for better SEO because I have read some comments mentioning their google traffic dropped after changing.
The H1 tag has long been an example of an influential ranking factor and important signal to search engines as to what a page of content is about. The proportion of the H1’s influence on rankings compared to the overall picture has diminished over time, but is still considered an important ranking factor to many of the top minds in the SEO industry.
The H2 headings are found throughout the various WordPress Themes. It can be found most commonly in the post title, in the comment title, and in the sidebar or menu. Styling these many H2 headings can get a little complicated.
It is considered “best practice” for title tags to be over 20 characters and under 70 characters long (No magic SEO formula here; Search engines do not display more than 70 characters in their search result titles and then they start to chop off the end with…..). Try use the most important keywords to describe the content of the page in your title tags. Ensure that each page’s title tags are unique and that the titles are interesting enough to attract a click from a visitor in a search result.
There are varying opinions on how best to write header tags, but the general consensus is that they should be consistent with the title tag you’re using for the page in question. That doesn’t mean you should make them exactly the same, however. Let’s say you sell snazzy attire for dogs (such stores exist, and I’ve worked on a few). You’ve crafted a title tag and meta description for a category page that displays your wide array of sophisticated tiny dog hats. But once you write your on-page content, perhaps you get too generic with it and write an H1 that talks about dog fashion in general. In this case, your header tag isn’t reinforcing to search engines what this page is all about. You can get a little bit descriptive with it, but make sure the H1 ties back to the title tag. Here’s an example of how I might do it:
Without doing anything, Yoast SEO will generate an SEO title based on the title of your post, the H1 heading. It will also put your site’s name in the SEO title. If you don’t put your site’s name in your SEO title, Google will do this for you. Yoast SEO will make sure your title isn’t too long – you’ll get a notice if your title is too long. At Yoast, we use a small bullet to separate the post title from the site name, but you could also use a dash, for example.
The significance of the H1 to this engagement metric is that it is often the first page element a user sees upon landing on a page. Therefore it is imperative that this headline assures the user they are in the right place and have found what they are looking for.
Wish you a very happy new year. My wife did her MBA Finance and Marketing in India and came to US after getting married. She is planning to do her second MBA here. May i know what are the options available here. She also has H4 EAD now. Can she study with that ?? Also is it mandatory to write GRE/GMAT . Since she already did her MBA is there any crash course that she can take up and sit in campus interviews.
I bet you were wondering when we’d get to the dog hats! In my example above, the H1 stays in the same vein as the title tag, but targets some secondary language that’s relevant to search queries. Why did I do it that way, you ask?

Yes. I know from the H1 that the post will explain what header tags are and how they impact SEO. Looking at the H2s, I know that the content of the post will explain what H1s are, what H2s are, whether or not H1s and H2s have an effect on SEO, and how to properly implement H1 and H2 tags. It’s pretty clear what’s going on here.
Heading — HTML has six different heading tags — h1, h2, and so on. The h1 is considered the most important tag, and the h6 is the least important. The tags are often formatted from large (or most important) to smallest (or least important). H1s have always been a major ranking factor. There have been plenty of trends in SEO that have come and gone, but h1s have never lost their significance.
This is the exact formatting that we want for the new

wrapped site title on our redesigned post pages, too.  Just copy that snippet of code, paste another instance of it right below, and change the “h1” to an “h2.”  The end result will look like this:
You can only be on ONE Status at a time. If you change to F1, then you cannot work on L1. There is no deal like having a back up and jumping to other. I do not think. This is just based on my knowledge and experience. You may have to consult with attorney for correct info. The best advice I can give you is, schedule an appointment with the school’s International adviser and talk to them about your situation. They will suggest you all options.
Two title aren’t always better than one. There’s a good argument for making your meta title and H1 identical (or very close.) That is that users will appreciate the consistency. When they click on the title in search results, they get to a page that matches their expectations. That’s important! So, you should never stray too far from your meta title with your on-page title.
For levels beneath the H1 title tag, you will have to use H2 and following tags. H2 header elements are used the most among the other five header tags. Follow with H2, H3 header tags after you are done with H1 for titles. Do not skip tags, as your document will lose structure and clutter.
Different websites choose to use their H1 tags differently. Some may make them very long, writing them out like full sentences. Others may limit them to one or two very simple words that match the actual title of the page. However, there are SEO benefits to using the H1 tag as a way to include keywords most relevant to the content of the page—and as descriptive as possible.
It’s your call whether to lean toward consistency or creativity. Personally, I’d be more likely to use a creative H1 in the case of an article or blog post (like the examples above) than, say, a product page or an evergreen page on a core topic.

What we’re interested in is the two instances of “h1” in the brackets to either side of the title. These are Header 1 tags, which designate the text between them as Header 1 text. These tags tell your browser—and search engines—that this is the biggest text on the page (unless someone has manually tweaked the site settings), and thus the most important text on the page.
You can apply this logic to any industry. If you sell industrial work clothes manufactured in-house, I bet you try to differentiate yourself from the competition by making a more durable product. Your H1 tags might talk about how you have the strongest or most dependable work pants on the market. Maybe you sell custom-built smartphone cases that are lightweight and discreet. You’d want to use your H1 tags to convey they are the lightest on the market or the smallest, least bulky smartphone cases online.
Many of the same tips offered above for H1 tag best practices apply to the other heading tags you may use on your site. As long as you do not stuff them with keywords, keep them unique, and write descriptive, informative headers, users will appreciate them—which, in turn, can help your site’s performance in search. In SEO, H1 tags are the most beneficial when they also help to make your webpage user-friendly.
Networking with Working Professionals for Career Growth : Typically, if you are working full time and take MBA classes, you will be taking classes most of the time in the evening  or weekends and majority of the students will be working full time just like you. The fact is, it is a great place for you to network with professionals in other companies. There are good number of managers in the class too. Everyone see your work and you get to discuss, if you want to make a career change or move to other higher role or different company, the network you build in class can be of great help.
